We know that we talked about sharing updates semi regularly on here, and we're very much behind all the things we want to share with everyone! Stay tuned for updates on gameplay, lore and events we attended in the past! But for now, we have another exciting announcement to share!
How come? Well, we spend the past 4 months having many discussions on where we see our future and possible cooperations with different parties. And time and time again we got to the conclusion that we want to stay as independent as possible- especially as we are aware that investing into Code: 9 would be a huge risks due to the LLM part and would leave us in a more unfavourable position. And while we had some great first talks with 2 publishers, we eventually decided to not pursue it further and choose to involve the community more to shape this unique experience that is Code: 9!! On another note: while we had some great exchanges with visitors while exhibiting Code: 9 at Gamescom (recap on that coming soon!!), we know that it's tough to back something you have not played yet yourself. And on that we have some great news as well, as we will launch our public demo in January during the Detective Games Steam Fest!! ✨🕵️ So you will get the chance to experience 30 minutes of Code: 9 yourself and get convinced that it's worth supporting our dream!
