We’re beyond excited to share that A Story About Farting 2 is officially in development!
It’s louder, smellier, and way more ambitious than the first game — and yes, we even have a tiny teaser to show you. The fart of a deranged pigeon has drifted all the way to Ancient Egypt!
That’s where the next chapter of A Story About Farting will unfold — this time with much more ambition, new mechanics, and engaging gameplay.
What’s the story this time?
You’ll travel back to Ancient Egypt, where Pharaoh Tutankafart suffers under the dreadful curse of the sinister priest Dungareptus.
The Pharaoh’s catastrophic gas could literally bring the entire civilization to its knees.
Only the legendary Pyramid of Purification can save him… and all of Egypt.
Expect absurd fart-powered chaos, cursed relics, roaming animals, clicker-style gameplay, and a cast of characters no one asked for — but everyone will remember.
A father-and-son passion project
This game is being made by just two people:
Me – doing the design, sounds, and general chaos
My Dad – drawing every single character and background by hand, and coming up with some of the most unhinged ideas you’ll see in the game
What’s next?
We’re currently polishing the first level, and we hope to show real gameplay footage in August or September.
The game has the potential to grow into something huge:
Multiple levels across Ancient Egypt
Weird animals and cursed NPCs
“Super Fart” power-ups and time challenges
Animated cutscenes that are as epic as they are stupid
But for now…
Our only limitation is budget
We have the ideas, we have the passion — what we don’t have is enough money to hire programmers and animators to fully bring this world to life.
