Partly from the booze, partly from the awful din of the headline band, a trio of tortoises torturing their instruments for something they call 'experimental neo-fusion rock'. They called themselves To Shell and Back or something equally shitty.
You light another cigarette as you wonder how your band management career fell apart and landed you in this backwards ass city.
But then something clicks in your mind, like a flash of electricity. Tonight's support act - the ostrich on vocals, the deer on lead guitar, the bass on bass, and the rabbit behind the drums.
They were rough around the edges sure, but you think you might just be able to make a real band out of them...
