Hey everyone,

I wanted to post a quick but important update:

Deck of Stabs is very much alive.

The game was originally planned to release months ago, but development slowed while I focused heavily on major updates for MetalMercs. As a solo developer juggling multiple projects, sometimes one game temporarily takes priority — and MetalMercs demanded it.

That said, Deck of Stabs has never been abandoned.

In fact, stepping away briefly has given me time to think over a lot. In that time I've worked to clarify systems, tighten class identities, and refine what makes the game special.

I’m now shifting focused attention back to Deck of Stabs and expect to have more substantial progress to share within the next two months — including gameplay previews and clearer timelines.

Thank you for your patience and for wishlisting the game. It genuinely helps.

More soon.

— Jay
