We’re excited to announce that Formula Legends Patch 1.3 is now live!

This update delivers some of the most requested improvements so far, significantly enhancing the overall driving experience.

Patch 1.3 introduces full steering wheel support with complete input remapping, letting you fine-tune every control for a more precise, realistic, and immersive feel. At launch, wheel models from Moza, Logitech, Fanatec, and Thrustmaster are supported, with additional brands planned for future updates.

For the best driving experience, we strongly recommend setting your wheel steering dead zone to 0 in the control settings.

This ensures correct input response and allows the new wheel handling to work as intended.

We’ve also rolled out a complete rework of the collision system and hitboxes, making on-track contacts less punishing and improving wheel-to-wheel racing.

To further boost immersion, cars now feature a visual damage system, with visible damage and deformation after impacts.

PATCH 1.3 – FIXES & IMPROVEMENTS

Patch 1.3 also includes numerous fixes and quality-of-life improvements across gameplay, controls, audio, and stability.

  • Improved qualification session timing for more reliable session flow

  • Rebalanced the Tire Master pilot perk to prevent overpowering while still rewarding smart tyre management

  • Improved gear shifting behavior for more consistent and responsive changes

  • Refined vehicle collision boxes to reduce invisible contacts and unexpected side collisions

Controls & Visual Settings

  • Improved steering wheel input remapping for easier configuration and better compatibility

  • Fixed the Depth of Field option so it now behaves correctly and reflects selected values

Steering Wheel & Force Feedback

  • Improved deadzone behavior and overall force feedback consistency

  • Reduced excessive force feedback during gear changes

  • Restored wheel slip feedback and fixed unwanted vibrations

  • Fixed force feedback turning off in menus or after qualifying

Controls, UI & Gameplay

  • Fixed throttle not always reaching 100% and improved pedal behavior

  • Restored missing wheel steering options on supported platforms

  • Fixed tyre selection issues and race timer behavior during pit stops

  • Improved stability, menus, tutorials, and localisation

Audio & Visuals

  • Added new audio feedback when a gear can’t be engaged due to RPM limits
