Thank you to everyone who has supported Egging On so far! The positive response we’ve seen during our open playtest & recent Steam Next Fest demo has been incredible, and we cannot thank you enough for all the support you’ve shown us!
During this time by far one of the most requests we received was about whether we could also bring Egging On to consoles. This led to a lot of discussions internally about what’s best for Egging On and you the players, and in the end, we decided that it would be best to bring Egging On to as many players as possible at launch. And so, we are excited to announce that we’ll be doing exactly that! It’s a bit too early to confirm specific consoles Egging On will be coming to just yet, but please stay tuned for our next update for more details.
Due to this we have also made the difficult decision to push back our Steam release to coincide with the console launches. Whilst we really do appreciate this may be a source of disappointment for our community, this will also give us more time to add additional content and polish to the game. There were several fun features that we had in mind that we didn't have time to fit in before the original release date that we can now bring into the game for launch.
Although it’s a shame to delay our Steam release, we’re confident that with this additional time we will be able to release an even bigger, better & eggier experience for all our players across PC and Consoles. We don't have an exact release date - we will be announcing this very soon - but we are confidently aiming for Q4 2025.
