Hey everyone!

We’re deep in development on Chronocracy — polishing gameplay, adding new mechanics, and balancing everything that moves. More details coming in future posts.

Today, we’d like to share a bit more about the world where the game takes place. Let's start with the first five biomes. Each has its own pros, cons, and surprises, so choose wisely. Every location offers a different amount of starting resources, which can speed up or slow down your progress right from the beginning.

Desert

Heat, sun, sand, and palm trees! Beautiful — with one small exception: there’s a sharp shortage of stone, and this region is poor in useful minerals. But you can get a golden tan and meditate in the dunes.

North Pole

A cold place with almost everything — except food. Seriously, food is a quest. Finding something to eat early on might be harder than in any other biome. Build farms right away, or get ready to gnaw on ice and chew your own boots.

Relict Forest

A very beautiful location full of unusual plants, massive trees, lush vegetation, and mystical vibes. There’s plenty of stone, wood, and food here, but this area attracts large plumpbirds. And they can be aggressive, causing trouble during construction or resource gathering. You’ll need to create warriors capable of attacking these giant round feathered creatures.

Stone Tundra

The name says it all: lots of stone, not much else. You’ll have to go far for wood, and there’s a risk of running into predators or hostile tribes. The choice is yours: become a roaming wanderer or build sawmills as fast as you can.

Giant Green Vaults

An unusual place to live in the shade of tall stone ledges. The same mysterious atmosphere as the Relict Forest, but with less stone. Fans of greenery will love it.

Have you already picked the perfect place to survive? Tell us in the comments where you’d start your chronoadventure!

Don’t forget to add Chronocracy to your wishlist, follow the game’s page, and join our Discord — it’s cozy, fun, and full of useful stuff.

From the heart of the Relict Forest,

The Chronocracy Team
