It feels incredible to finally say that without whispering. Here’s the world premiere trailer which aired today at Summer Game Fest:
Mortal Shell II is a standalone sequel, set to launch worldwide in 2026 on PlayStation 5, Steam and Xbox.
Today we are opening sign-ups to the game’s Beta, which is scheduled to begin in early 2026.

Mortal Shell II is the result of our obsession with dark fantasy, action RPGs, and high-stakes combat. It is a vision shaped by everything we love about these genres, distilled into a single, relentless experience.
With Mortal Shell II, we are building a deeply atmospheric open world, expansive yet deliberately compact, designed to unfold its twisted landscapes and hidden structures at a measured pace. Your journey will be marked by brutal, high-intensity combat, both melee and ranged, against relentless enemies that demand your full attention and mastery.
You won’t need to have played the first Mortal Shell to dive into the sequel. However, returning players will find echoes of familiar faces, some changed, some forgotten, alongside entirely new Shells to discover and inhabit.
