Dealer’s Life Legend Update #05 - Time to Fight for Trophies!

Hello, Merchants!

We’re thrilled to announce the release of Update #05, quite a big update! 🎉

All Arenas in the Empire are now opening their doors! Crowds are gathering from across the land to witness the thrill of epic gladiator combat! What are you waiting for? Come join the (fight) club!

Here’s a complete list of the features that you’ll find in this update, which is out today!

New Features

• Arena: another brand-new building opens its doors! In the Arena you’ll be able to watch thrilling fights and guess the winner, or even send your own Companions into battle! In any case, glory and great prizes await!
• Trophy Hall: located in the same “Extra” submenu of the Item Catalogue, the Trophy Hall is the place to relive the very best items you’ve encountered across all your games! From the most expensive items bought to the most profitable ones sold, every step of your personal Legend will be displayed here!
• Item Pack: this update’s item pack contains 126 new items, including spellbooks, rare antiques, and gorgeous paintings! We’re now very close to 1000 total items!
• Customer Name Pack: we added 150 new male names, 150 new female names and 150 new surnames to increase even more the variation of the generated names. All these new names and surnames will mix together with the old ones and create thousands of new and funny combinations!

Quality Of Life

• Damage & Heal animations: we added nice animations to make damage and healing effects more visible and clear.

Fixes

• Item generation: we fixed a very sneaky bug in the early game Item generation that could lead to easy profit through very valuable Items on Auction. Now the Items on Auction are generated with the correct progression.
• Intelligence balance: we slightly improved the Item estimation logic for more accurate evaluations based on Intelligence.
• Prestige in Carpentry: Prestige now increases accordingly when upgrading multiple Caravan elements at once.
• Controller navigation: Fixed a minor bug affecting controller navigation during negotiations.
• Event effects: fixed some effects on Items that are now applied only on the correct available Items. (More event-related news coming soon... 😏)
• Other minor fixes and improvements.

Also, in case you missed the news, we’d like to remind you that Dealer’s Life Legend has recently been approved for Steam Deck! If you have the possibility, we highly recommend trying the game there, we think it fits perfectly on a portable console! ❤️
