Dear Timekeeper,

Over the past year, we've experienced Version 1.4 Mystery Box Carnival, Version 1.6 Half-Anniversary Celebration, and Version 1.9 First Anniversary Celebration. We hope the game has brought you many unforgettable moments through the journey. Reflecting on 2024, we wouldn't be where we are today without the devotion and support of each and every Timekeeper. In the upcoming Version 2.2, we're introducing the beginning of the Main Story in the 2.0 series, Chapter 8: Tristes Tropiques, as well as a new Mystery Box Carnival!

Our journey now takes us to São Paulo, where the stationed Zeno forces, a mysterious writer, and a "familiar face" who vanished in the "Storm" await ... As tensions reignite, perhaps it's time to reevaluate the allegiances you've held until now.

In addition to the new storyline, we've prepared brand-new permanent contents on a major scale, various feature optimizations, and loads of rewards for the celebration. We'll be hosting a special preview livestream for the Mystery Box Carnival on January 3rd, and we can't wait to see you there!

Before the celebration officially begins, here's a peek at some of the new and optimized contents in this version:

1: Favorite Character Marking
In the 2.2 update, we'll add a Favorite Character Marking feature on the character details page. You can mark characters according to your preferences, and whether sorting them by Level, Rarity, or Bond, or just under normal conditions, your marked characters will be displayed first for easier access.

2: Garment Special Effects Preview
The Garment Special Effects Preview feature will be introduced in Version 2.2. Even if you don't own a character or garment, you can preview new arcane skill animations and new entry actions of the newly added or returning garments in the character Garment interface, the in Bank, or via in-game announcements.

We'll be adding previews for some existing garments in later versions.

3: Time-Limited Mane's Bulletin Event
In anticipation of the celebration, Version 2.2 will feature a special time-limited event again. We'll continue adjusting the rules for boss challenges in while introducing new rewards for certain characters to add more variety to the gameplay.

4: Optional Download for Reflections Events
After the Version 2.2 update, past recurring events will become available for optional download to help reduce the game's base download size. Players who wish to experience these events can easily download them directly from the Reflections interface.

For more updates on this new version, please stay tuned for our preview livestream and subsequent official announcements.

We remain committed to providing you with the best possible content in each version and a constantly improving gaming experience. Once again, thank you for your support—for this edition of the 1999 Devs Broadcast, we'd like to present you with an exclusive gift:
