Moths, eh? They don't get a lot of love compared to their flashier, more garishly coloured counterparts. Butterflies are the gaudy, weirdly popular clown of the lepidopteran world. Moths, though? They mostly come out at night, are fluffy, shy and their babies will eat your underwear given the opportunity. I feel moths and I should be friends. Wait... this isn't rehab, is it?
Bum. Back on track.
Here are a couple of new items and a minor tweak for people who can't act in time to avoid a DAMNED GREAT WHITE SQUARE on the screen which they know will plunge them down a dungeon level.
Other lovely people have complained that there's a lack of elegant dresses in the game. Now, I'm a (terrible) coder, not a seamstress, and my interest in fashion is less than zero (anything which fundamentally changes multiple times a year clearly has some terrible flaw in its DNA... or is a moth). Flappy, insectoid tangents aside, you now have a lovely 'A-line skirt' with premium stitching, fashioned by those toiling night and... night in Caldera's finest sweatshops. Hey, at least it's not child labour. Right? RIGHT? (Sigh) Some people are never pleased.
The EMP is for those who have complained that Sibaroon security is far too... secure. Those with sufficient disposable income or a surfeit of adventurous spirit can now find Sparkstones which will allow you to make all kinds of machines just a little bit more... sparky. Yes. That's a word. If I'm making up a world, I can make up any words I want*.
Anyway, here are the squeegar of the blunkethoon:
- Players can now sneak over closed trapdoors
- Added an emp device. It's available in shops, and is part of treasure drops. Must be used right next to the offending machine.
- Filtered the footstep sound a little for the tender-eared babies who found it too raucous
- Altered the ambush sound for the other tender-eared babies who found it too raucous
- Added a new skirt because, believe it or not, I got fashion complaints
I find the things people focus on very laugh*!
- Fluttermind
(*If people can use 'cringe' as an adjective, then I can do the same with 'laugh')
