Hello everyone with this seasons DPL just a week away we will be announcing the format!
DPL REBOOTED SEASON 1 FORMAT
This format will be a 7 week swiss tournament with the top 8 teams going into a playoff bracket in the final week.
--- Weekend Schedule ---
Every week you will play 2 BO2 matches against 2 different teams, those teams will be decided via the swiss formatting system
A BO2 will be played on Saturday and a BO2 will be played on Sunday
There will be a 12 hour window for games to be held (Noon BST - Midnight BST) with priority being on the streamable game window which is 2pm ET to 5pm ET. If you can play your BO2 within that gap that takes priority but the extra hours of queue time is to allow teams with variying timezones to play at a time that suits them
Weekly matchups will be given out the wednesday before the weekend of play
You will win 2 points per series win, 1 point for a tie series and 0 points for a loss
If a bye is needed the team will automatically win the series and will recieve 2 points

There will be rosters locks from weeks 1-4 and 5-8 and rosters are being increased to 8 (5 main roster 3 subs)
