One week to go...
The Dimension Update is coming on June 2nd, 3PM CEST (2pm BST // 7am PDT // 9am EDT // 9PM CST), just one short week away! (Reminder: Overview here)
We already shared the meat of the update, but we've snuck in a few extra last minute changes. Here's a quickfire round of the new additions.
New global wire transmitters
Wire transmitters now have a wire and channel input instead of the old color based system, which means you now basically have infinite channels. We also introduced a new building - the Operator Shape Receiver - which allows you to receive the operator shapes instead.
Blueprint icon collapse
When selecting just one image for a blueprint and the other 3 are empty, it is now shown in large.
Platform placement animations
Placing and deleting platforms now has an animation.
New milestones
We added two more milestones including their own side tasks & unlocks for the 3D platform building and the train vortex delivery. We're still experimenting with that or if the vortex delivery should come earlier, so be sure to let us know!
Balancing changes
Asteroids farther out are now larger, allowing you to retrieve more resources.
Insane mode tasks now give 20% more chunk limit.
Speaking of chunk limit, it is now displayed divided by half, i.e. if it was shown as 100 previously, now it will be shown as 50. This makes it more consistent so that one foundation chunk consumes 1 platform limit.
