We are excited to introduce today the 2025 Steam Early Access update roadmap for new pixel art souls-like action RPG 'Chrono Sword'.
'Chrono Sword' has continued to garner a great amount of interest through various online and offline events ahead of its December 6th release to Steam Early Access. With how long players have been anticipating this release, this launch to Early Access has drawn even more interest and favorable responses from players around the globe.
In response to all this interest, CFK and 21cDucks are sharing the 2025 update roadmap for players to check the planned development for the Steam Early Access period. With this, players will be able to see what new content and features will be added moving forward.
In addition to the contents and features to be added, both companies plan to actively respond to and factor in feedback given during the Early Access period.
The overall direction set for the Early Access Chrono Sword roadmap is: ▲ quickly stabilizing the Early Access build and ▲ filling out content completion and increasing overall user satisfaction. Specific details about each step in the roadmap will be announced at a later date.
To begin, in the first quarter of the year, we will be focusing on content quality improvements and responding to player feedback. Alongside this, we will be polishing the level-up system, skill tree system, and adding in new accessories and items. The first half of Chapter 4 will also be added in as a new area.
During the second quarter, main story events and NPC interaction events will be added, the male/female playable characters will be made available, chapter 4 will be expanded upon with its second half, and players will be able to experience chapter 5 as well. In the third quarter, extra bosses, weapons, and armor will be added alongside chapters 6 and 7 as new areas.
In the last (fourth) quarter of the year, the team will focus on content quality improvements, responding to player feedback, and adding in chapter 8 as a new area. After the Early Access period, CFK and 21cDucks will officially launch the game after filling it out with a number of additional regions and other content.
