Hi Chefs!

There are less than 2 weeks left until the release of Cooking Simulator 2: Better Together! So it's time to talk about couple of different things, in this series we'll be talking about different parts of game and gameplay. So sharpen your knives, and prepare for what's coming!

Cooking Together Changes Everything

One of the most important additions in the sequel is full online cooperative gameplay. For the first time, players can step into the same kitchen and run a restaurant together in real time. This changes the way the game is played on a fundamental level.

In single player, you are responsible for every task. In co-op, responsibilities can be divided between players. One person can focus on preparing ingredients, another can handle cooking, while someone else manages plating or delivering dishes to guests. This allows for more strategic gameplay and creates opportunities for coordination and teamwork.

At the same time, co-op introduces new challenges. Communication becomes essential, especially during busy service hours. A lack of coordination can quickly lead to mistakes, delays, and confusion. Orders may pile up, dishes may be prepared incorrectly, and the kitchen can become difficult to manage.

These situations are not only challenges but also a source of fun. Unexpected mistakes, last-second recoveries, and chaotic moments are a natural part of the experience. They create memorable gameplay and make every session feel different.

Cooking Simulator 2: Better Together is designed to support both organized teamwork and spontaneous chaos. Whether you aim for perfect coordination or embrace unpredictable moments, co-op adds a completely new dimension to the game.

Create Your Own Dishes

The game expands the gameplay by allowing players to go beyond predefined recipes and create their own dishes from scratch. This feature builds on the core mechanics of the game and introduces a new level of creativity.

The Blueprint System is one of the key features introduced in Cooking Simulator 2. It provides a structured way to approach recipes while still allowing flexibility and creativity.

Each recipe is presented as a step by step process, guiding players through preparation, cooking, and plating. This makes it easier for new players to understand how dishes are created and ensures a smoother learning curve.

At the same time, the system is not restrictive. Players can modify existing blueprints or create entirely new ones based on their own ideas. This allows the system to function both as a learning tool and as a creative platform.

By combining structure with flexibility, the Blueprint System supports a wide range of playstyles. Players can select from a wide range of ingredients and apply different cooking techniques to experiment with new combinations. The process creating, adjusting, and refining each dish until it reaches a desired result. This encourages exploration and allows players to discover new possibilities within the game.

The creation of custom dishes is not limited. Once a dish has been developed, it can be added to the restaurant menu and served to guests. This means that player creativity directly impacts gameplay and guest reactions.

Not every attempt will be successful. Some combinations may not work as expected, and some dishes may not meet guest expectations. However, this is part of the experience. Learning through trial and error is an important aspect of mastering the system.

This feature allows players to express their own style and approach to cooking. It also increases replayability by offering endless possibilities for experimentation.
