Hey Loners,

This update focuses on clarity and readability. We’ve improved how information is displayed during gameplay, cleaned up visuals, and made key systems easier to read at a glance, especially in the middle of combat.

What’s New

Visual Improvements

  • Improved lighting on the Character Selection Screen

  • New Final Hijinks model

Quality of Life Improvements

Player Conditions UI Rework

  • Player conditions are now separated between Curios and Buffs/Debuffs

  • Player conditions now appear above the health bar for better visibility

Curios Conditions UI

  • Curio conditions now appear in the Curio HUD (top-left corner)

  • Visual feedback improvements:

    • Glow when ready to use

    • Vertical fill while on cooldown

    • Radial fill while charging

    • Stack count shown as a number in the bottom-right

Graphics Settings Preview

  • Selecting a quality preset now shows a visual preview of how the game will look with that setting applied

Changes

  • Christmas setting has been turned off 🎄

  • Late Rage Curio adjustments:

    • Charging no longer stops if the player is moving too fast

    • Added a cooldown after AirGear ends before charging can start again

Fixes

  • Fixed night sky turning into daytime when a Boss appears

  • Fixed bullets not hitting Snacks depending on their position

  • Fixed Snacks not disappearing when hiding near environment edges

Known Issues

  • Doom Perfume's area of effect is all dark

What’s Next

This update is part of a broader effort to improve clarity and overall game feel. With better feedback and cleaner UI in place, we can keep iterating on systems without adding unnecessary friction during gameplay.

We’re currently working on objective-related improvements and gameplay adjustments that will affect your runs and how decisions are made along the way. We’ll share more once those changes are ready to be shown.

As always, keep the feedback coming. It’s shaping the direction of every update.

See you in The Zone.
