Devices Tycoon introduces a new system — trading stocks of other companies.
Each company has its own shares, which you can trade based on your chosen strategy.
You can:
buy and sell stocks to profit from price changes;
gradually acquire up to 49% of shares in order to fully acquire the company in the future.
There is an important limitation: buying or selling the full 49% of shares at once is not possible.
Companies are concerned about market manipulation, so they release shares gradually. Available stock volumes are limited and replenish over time, making investing a controlled and strategic process. After completing a transaction, new volumes will become available later, allowing you to continue trading over time.
In Devices Tycoon, you can fully acquire other companies, but to start negotiations you must own 49% of the company’s shares.
A full acquisition is significantly more expensive than buying regular stocks, as you are purchasing not just shares, but also:
the company’s entire infrastructure;
its management structure;
business processes and market presence.
An acquired company will generate monthly dividends. Dividend size depends on the chosen company strategy and its growth rate.
Acquisitions take place through negotiations. The final price depends on the company’s popularity and success — stronger and more well-known companies will demand higher prices.
If you’re not satisfied with the offered price, you can walk away and return to negotiations later. You can also negotiate, offering a lower price and observing the company’s reaction. If negotiations fail, the company will temporarily block further negotiations, making every decision meaningful.
After acquiring a company, you can choose a development strategy and an investment amount for the upcoming year. Strategy selection directly affects company growth, dividends, and overall stability.
Available strategies:
Growth Strategy — maximizes company value growth in the current year. Stock prices grow faster, dividends are lower, and sharp fluctuations are possible.
Income Strategy — focuses on immediate dividend income. Stock growth slows down, price fluctuations may occur, but income becomes stable and high.
Balanced Strategy — a compromise between growth and income with lower risk. Moderate stock growth and average dividends throughout the year.
