The Dark World serves as a blank space, acting almost like a gate or a bridge that must be passed through before The Flower guides the way into The Memory World, but only if she allows it.


It is also the space where conversations with The Statue of Memories take place. The simulation of a new memory occurs there as well, before returning to The Memory World to observe the outcome.


The surface of the ground is a liquid, with crystal shards underneath that come from The Flower's body. It's proof of how many times The Flower has tried and failed to simulate new changes to Nala's Memory.
White cords stretch down from the sky gripping the statue tightly, representing the pain of being bound by dark memories. They pinch and pull, as if trying to hold back any movement toward change.
