Hello Watchers,
Patch 1.1.6 is now live and focuses heavily on long-requested quality-of-life improvements, UI usability, and continued combat polish. December has been a huge month for Sanguine, and this update continues that momentum.
Added a Brightness adjustment option to the settings menu.
Players can now adjust brightness using positive and negative thresholds to better suit their display and preferred horror experience.
This has been one of the most requested features since Early Access launched — thank you for your patience!
Added an Auto Sort button to the player’s Storage Box.
Automatically sorts stored items in the following order:
Tools → Weapons → Ammo → Meds → Crafting Items → Keys
Another highly requested quality-of-life improvement to reduce inventory friction.
Added a new News & Updates button to the Main Menu.
This menu shows all previous patches, allowing players to select an update and open the corresponding Steam patch notes in their default browser.
Implemented an official Guide / Walkthrough on the Sanguine website:

The guide is currently a work in progress and will be expanded over the coming weeks for players who want or need additional help navigating the game.
Localized versions will also be provided at a later time.
Fixed an issue where combining ammo in storage would place it opposite of the intended location.
Added a new Knife Low Attack & Ready Animation for Kris’s knife attacks for improved combat feel and readability.
December has been an incredibly productive month for Sanguine, with multiple updates and major additions — be sure to check out previous patch notes if you missed any key highlights.
January will continue that pace, with regular updates and fixes planned.
