After careful consideration I'm making an important change to Crazy Shipping's business model.
The free-to-play model hasn't provided the sustainable revenue needed to fund the updates I want to make and that you deserve. By moving to a premium model I can focus on creating better ships, stations, storylines, and features without freemium mechanics being a consideration.
What's Changing
Effective July 5th 2025, Crazy Shipping will move from free-to-play to a $4.99 USD purchase price. This change allows me to invest more resources into content updates, story campaigns and expanded gameplay systems to keep the game fun into the future.
What This Means for You
Current Players
If you already have Crazy Shipping in your Steam library, nothing changes. You keep the game forever and get all updates at no additional cost.
Progression
Voidium will be paid for 30% of jobs instead of 10%, making it generally 3x more available and allow faster in-game progression.
Premium Currency
Optional purchases remain available for players who want to progress faster or support ongoing development.
Going Forwards
I believe a small upfront investment creates a better relationship between me and players, allowing me to build the deep, engaging, cute space logistics experience you've been asking for.
