👋 Hey everyone!
As you know, we have big ambitions and a strong desire to create the game we’ve always dreamed of. There’s still a lot of work ahead, and the final big update will take some time. But we don’t want to leave you hanging — so we’ve put together an intermediate update with features that both you and we have been eagerly waiting for.
No more preludes — here’s what’s new:
💃CUSTO—WAIT FOR IT—MIZATION! 🎨
We’ve added full body customization for the girl character. Now you get to decide the size of her boobs and butt, and whether she’s wearing a dress… or not.
Oh, and yes — she can now be barefoot!!! But the hood stays — after all, she’s still Little Red Riding Hood.
🖋️ Also, tattoos have arrived — for now in test mode. So if you’ve always imagined Red as a jacked girl covered in ink, it’s the perfect time to check out the update!
In the future, we plan to expand tattoo options and give players the ability to upload their own designs and share them with the community.
⚙️ Visuals & Optimization
Every update brings visual improvements — and this one is no exception. We've refined the level design and optimized most of the scene’s objects.
We also made a bunch of adjustments directly in UE 5.5, aiming for smoother performance, even on low-end PCs.
The optimization didn’t stop with the environment — it affected the characters too. All materials were rebuilt with performance in mind, and cloth physics now run three times faster.
And a few more nice little things
We improved the UI, fixed the camera, and tweaked dozens of small details.
But we’ve covered the essentials — and we don’t want to overload you with a wall of text before you jump back into the game. We really hope you enjoy the update!
As with every CatchMe update, we don’t have tons of resources for full-scale testing. But usually, a couple of days after release are enough for us to fix the most important bugs.
