Hey everyone! Just put out a smaller update with a ton of fixes and some behind the scenes changes. Big part of this update won't effect those of you already playing goo, but is still a big update nonetheless!
Play as guest:
We have added a new way to start you goo Journey, with a 'Play as Guest' option now added. We heard from a lot of new users that they don't want to use their email on some random Indie game developer to play a Goo game, That is totally valid so now you Create a "Guest Account" that can do everything a main account does without using an email.(We only use your email currently to help you recover you account and to make it easier to do crossplay). After making a Guest account you can upgrade it and add an email and password at any point and save any progress you made on your guest account.
We will not be able to help you recover any guest account that you lose access too! So Goo carefully.
Fixes/ Working Goo
Sometimes to coordinate things across all the devices that you can Goo on we have to take down the servers, before we just would bring the servers down and people would keep erroring out when trying to connect, we have added a nice friendly goo to help alert you if things are down!
On top of that we have fixed (hopefully for the last time) the Goopendium being busted for Omni Goos. As well as a few other fixes of things that were broken for the newest goos such as Franken Goo not showing up in the previews or Nighty being able to hold items if they were holding on to one before mutating.
What's next?!?
As always thank you guys so much for all the support you give to us and Goo Gladiators. I keep hinting at a new game mode in a near update and am happy to say that I think next update will be the one!!
