This major update upgrades all previously packaged 32-bit applications used by PCMark 10 to their respective 64-bit versions. This follows industry trends as support for OpenCL 32-bit has been deprecated on modern hardware. Most notably, this update means PCMark 10 is now compatible with systems using the following hardware and drivers:
This update affects the App Startup, Web Browsing, Spreadsheets, and Writing workloads in the PCMark 10 Benchmark. Scores from PCMark 10 version 2.3 and later are not comparable with scores from earlier versions of PCMark 10. The system benchmarks DLC pcm10-system-benchmarks has been updated from version 1.1.988.0 to 2.0.1057.0.
The Digital Content Creation and Gaming workloads in the PCMark 10 Benchmark are not affected. Additional details are in the patch notes below.
