This episode is especially unique and personal, as we invited Alex Jordan to present 11 facts for you, using 10 different voices of Jan!

11 facts + bonus one: 1. More than one Jan
In The Alters, you take the role of Jan Dolski, a man forced to create alternative versions of himself in order to survive.
2. An expedition gone wrong
Jan Dolski is the sole survivor of a space expedition gone wrong. Stranded on an alien planet revolving around a radioactive sun.
3. A giant ticking clock
The planet you landed on is riddled with dangers, the biggest one being its giant radioactive sun.
4. A mobile base
To traverse the hostile planet’s surface, you need to make use of a mobile base. This giant, round-shaped structure can be expanded by useful additional modules.
5. A mysterious substance
The planet Jan Dolski is stranded on, houses a mysterious substance called Rapidium. Its unique capabilities helps you create The Alters - alternative versions of Jan.
6. The human dimension
Your Alters are human beings with their own personalities and emotions. While bringing them to life is dictated by skills they possess, each one of them has his own emotional baggage.
7. Expanding the base
With the support of other Alters, you can plan to expand your base with additional modules. You will be able to build units that help the mission run more efficiently.
8. Tools and technologies
In the base, you’ll be able to research new technologies and build tools that will make your life on the planet safer and easier.
9. Extracting resources
Building base modules, satisfying Alters’ needs, and researching new technologies requires resources. To extract these through mining outposts, you will have to venture outside the base and explore the farthest corners of the planet.
10. A hostile planet
Exploring your surroundings and searching for resources entails contact with many potential threats. Various anomalies may stop you in your tracks by exposing you to radiation as well as fooling your senses.
