Release Date Update

LAN Party · published 1 May 2025, 03:09 UTC

Hi everyone,

Thank you so much for supporting LAN Party! Just wanted to share a few announcements:

First, the not-so-fun news. We'll have to move our early access release date to May 22nd due to some unforeseen circumstances surrounding our approval on Steam. We were alerted last week that Steam will need additional time to review LAN Party and we are still awaiting approval. We don't know for certain why additional time is needed or how much is needed, so we decided to push back our release three weeks to ensure that the approval process is completed before we hit our release date. Steam might just be overloaded with work due to the Steam Wargames Fest that just started or it might be due to the fact that we are a pretty non-traditional Steam release, but that's just speculation.

On the bright side, this gives us some additional time to polish LAN Party a bit more and get some valuable feedback before our release. We're planning on hosting some closed testing sessions leading up to release if anyone is interested in trying out early and giving us some valuable feedback. We're a small development team, so your feedback and suggestions are very important in helping us map out our development priorities moving forward.

If you are interested in helping us test or have any questions about LAN Party or our future development plans, feel free to join our Discord: https://discord.gg/MKMEfa2B

Thanks again for your support, and we hope to see you all in LAN Party soon!

The main focus of this update was image-to-model , and its something I've already spent hours playing around with. This tool allows you to bring in any image and create a fully textured 3D model with a click of a button! We've been really pleased with our test results, and we've found that the outpu…Game update25 Feb 2026Patch 2026.02.2: More FixesFixes: · Fixed GIF support for posters posters. · Fixed bug where wall textures/color would get cleared if you hit the Lighting Settings button while wall is selected. · In-room Room Templates UI is now scrollable.
