TRUXTON!
Hello and welcome to the Truxton Extreme Demo! It's only been a handful of hours but what a handful it's been! Clearly you guys are really enjoying the game. It's great to see Truxton Extreme reaching new players and veteran pilots!
However, it’s not all been clear skies. We've been made aware of a few issues that we'd like to highlight here. Hopefully it'll put your minds at rest so you can go back to annihilating aliens!
Frame-rates locked on Steam deck.
We have had some comments that the game is locked at 40fps on Steam deck. We are currently investigating this and expect the full release to run at 60fps on the Steam Deck just like the PS5.
Support for Keyboard.
Keyboard IS SUPPORTED in game, just not by the UI. The whole demo is playable with keyboard, just without any matching on-screen prompts to help greener pilots learn the controls. We plan on fixing this in time for Launch.
We've had a few other reports, our bug-crushing team has been deployed and are working to fix anything that pops up for the full game!
