OTHER UPDATES:We know it’s been a little quiet here the past couple of months, and we wanted to take a moment to share what has been happening behind the scenes. The team has been heads down, hard at work on all the big pieces that will bring Hawthorn to life. We are a small team and we’ve been giving everything we have to building Hawthorn and its future.Here’s a look at what we’ve been up to:Development: We’ve been adding new core gameplay features and expanding, tuning and polishing existing systems. Every week brings us closer to the world we all want to explore together.Marketing & Showcases: We’ve been working on executing on our self publishing and marketing roadmap, including prepping for upcoming festivals and showcases. We will have update about that in the future. You may have seen that we were at PAX recently, going around and talking to gamers about Hawthorn and trying to raise awareness of the game. We were also honored to be invited by Kickstarter to speak on a panel at SLICE to other indie developers about running a Kickstarter campaign!Team & Partnerships: We’ve been talking with art and localization partners, and continuing to grow our internal team so we can fill skill gaps and add more content to the game.Publishing Conversations: Over the last couple of weeks, we’ve been in deeper conversations with dozens of publishers. While we are still pursuing our self-publishing path, we’re also exploring whether a partner who deeply believes in Hawthorn could help us bring the game to even more players around the world.Thank you so much for your patience, your trust, and your continued support.
