Welcome back to Strayed, survivors. Update 0.10.0.0 seeks to fill out the early game progression with two new Ranged Weapons, four new Melee Weapons, Offline Mode, some long requested features and the usual bug fixes. Get ready for some Blades & Bloodshed.
Introducing the Homemade Pistol, a low tier, short range gun designed to be a cost effective solution to your trigger happy needs in the early game of Strayed.
The Staple Gun is a weapon to bridge the gap between melee weapons and guns. It may not pack much of a punch, but it’s better than nothing!
The staple gun and its corresponding staples can be crafted by default with a workbench. Nothing to research here!
Since Strayed was released into early access, the only weapons Strayers had to swing at each other were tools and two bats. This changes today with the addition of four new melee weapons! All of these weapons can be used for combat, smacking barrels, or even some eco-raiding.
Machete
Sword
Combat knife
Wooden spear
Crude but gets the job done. Perfect for cutting into survivors and barrels alike.
An elegant weapon for a more civilized age.
Be careful, this one is really sharp.
The most basic weapon of them all. Essentially just a pointy stick. The ultimate early wipe self-defense.
Strayers everywhere have been looking forward to this feature... Offline Mode! Design your base, refine your aim, or practice your flying skills at no risk on your own private island.
The new offline mode features a spawn menu, allowing players to spawn any weapon, tool, or deployable they want - including helicopters! Your builds will even save themselves automatically, meaning you can come back whenever you like to continue your creation.
Oh and by the way - You can fly here! Take advantage of your new superpowers by holding both grips and pressing the jump button.
Do keep in mind Strayer: Offline mode is currently in beta and there are still unsupported features and bugs. More features will be added to the offline mode as time goes on.
