Hello Everyone!

First of all, we would like to thank each and every one of you for your interest in and support for Liminal Shift! As we’ve always said, we have many plans for Liminal Shift and are absolutely committed to continuing its development. This announcement will fully inform you about the future of Liminal Shift, so we kindly ask you to read it.

First, we apologize once again for any delays or potential delays. Please remember that NextPhase is still a small game studio, and any developer falling ill can disrupt the entire development process. Thank you once again for your patience and support.

We’ve prepared a roadmap for you, which you can see below. Let’s dive into the detailed explanation of this roadmap:

New Chapter / Fisheye Effect Disable Option

As we mentioned before, when Liminal Shift was released in early access, our ideas were not yet finalized. We don’t want to finish Liminal Shift until it fully aligns with our vision. That’s why, on February 10th, we’re adding a new chapter between Chapter 5 and Chapter 6. This chapter will be connected to Chapter 5 and will offer approximately 30 minutes of gameplay. It will feature a darker and more chaotic concept! Additionally, on February 10th, we’re introducing a Fisheye Effect Disable Option to ensure that everyone can experience Liminal Shift in the most enjoyable way possible.

Your Opinion

On February 12th, we’re introducing something completely new! We’ll launch a survey and a form to gather your feedback about the game. Through this survey, you’ll be able to share the features and content you’d like to see in the game. However, there will be some conditions: your suggestions must not compromise the essence of the game. Liminal Shift is an atmospheric thriller that does not include monsters, chases, or jump scares. You’ll be able to share your ideas while staying true to the game’s core identity. We want Liminal Shift to stand out and diversify with your input!

Implementing Your Opinion

On February 25th, we’ll review all the surveys and forms, and begin turning your ideas into reality!

New Chapter / Ultimate VHS Experience

On March 10th, a completely new chapter is coming! You can think of this as Episode 2—a brand-new experience that will differ from the first story and setting. Additionally, on March 10th, we’re introducing a brand-new VHS Experience, where everything will feel almost entirely real! You’ll feel the full effect and tension of a VHS tape like never before.

Full Release / New Chapter

On April 15th, we’re bringing another completely new chapter! This chapter will be connected to Episode 2 and serve as its continuation. With this new chapter and Episode 2, Liminal Shift will officially transition to its full release!

Thank you for being with us on this journey from the very beginning. As we promised on day one, we strive to engage with all discussions and listen to everyone’s opinions. Thank you again for everything, and we’ll keep you updated if there are any changes. See you on February 10th!
