It’s been a long time and we hope you’re still enjoying yourselves out there in the Wasteland, finding your better selves. We’re very excited to announce the release of a new patch that’ll introduce Seasonal Crew Gear & Weapons, optimisation improvements and other minor tweaks.
PATCH NOTES
Seasonal Crew Gear & Weapons. We’ve added seasonal gear for your crew and seasonal weapons for your Battlewagon. Every year, when the season opens (please see the dates below), you may find Caches hidden throughout the Wasteland and each will add a part of the seasonal line-up! Each season provides two different sets of outfits (four pieces of Gear each) and one Weapon. Find all of the caches during the season to complete the line-up, whatever you find you get to keep all year round and whatever you miss you can try again each year when the season re-opens. Happy hunting!
Christmas: 1st December-5th January
Chinese New Year: 20th January-5th March (open now!)
Easter: 15th March-1st April
Halloween: 1st October-5th November
Optimisation improvements. For those of you interested in these details, we’ve made several optimisation changes that will hopefully improve game performance for you. These affect terrain generation, texture loading and blend in particular but also affect UI update checks, the Damage Number spawning system, animation checks and more.
Other minor tweaks. You may notice a couple other small changes we’ve made; the Blueprints in your Inventory now use new iconography to distinguish if it came from a Faction drop or a Warlord drop and Crew members now perform a distinct animation when repairing the fuel tank.
