Hello Citizens! Today, we have a bunch of exciting news to share about Frostpunk 2 with a new trailer, your work, and even some cosplay goodies.
As we get closer to the console launch and the Controller Support Update, we have prepared an updated roadmap for you with a brand-new trailer. But that’s not all. In today’s update, we will also showcase our recently released Cosplay Guides and highlight some of the amazing work you have been sharing with us on Reddit and Discord. Your creations have truly warmed our hearts more than the generator on overdrive.
We have reached the end of August and now we are heading straight toward the Console Launch on September 18th, which will also include a Full Controller Support on PC.
Later this year, you can expect more news about our first DLC - Spectrum, launching alongside another Free Major Content Update. Looking ahead to 2026, two more DLCs (Aurora and “DLC 3”) are planned, each with its own Free Major Content Updates.
It is finally happening! Frostpunk 2 is getting Full Controller Support on PC next month.
Our goal was simple: give you the freedom to play however you want, without struggling with the controls. Plug in a gamepad and you will find a fully redesigned UI built for smooth, intuitive navigation.
Use bumper buttons to cycle between districts of the same type.
A dynamic radial menu appears over resources, offering context-specific actions.
A clean, console-friendly UI for seamless city management.

Over the past few weeks, we have been releasing a series of Cosplay Guides on our social channels. Only 11 days left in the Frostpunk 2 Modding Contest. The creativity we have already seen on mod.io is incredible, and we cannot wait to see what else you come up with.
