Hello everyone!
Last month I announced the changes for Whiskara A1.2, and since making that announcement, I've decided to add extra features. These features were originally going to be added in A1.3, however I thought it would've been better to add it to A1.2 instead.
New Changes:
- Caves Area - Finally, after many months, the caves will be added to the game.
- Saving System - Alpha 1.2 will include a saving and loading system, so if you need to step away from the game, you will be able to continue where you left off.
- Skills - A new agility skill will be added, this skill will improve the your stamina and running speed, there are a total of 10 agility skill levels to be learned.
- Environment - Alpha 1.2 will have new tree and bush models with better optimisation, there will also be new forest area to explore, in the valley.
- Graphics - The game will use a standard shader instead of a stylised shader, this is because of limitations and issues with the custom stylised shader. The game will still retain a stylised look, but without toon shading. The terrain textures have also been updated.
- UI - The UI in alpha 1.2 will be overhauled with new textures.
Delay
The update will have to be delayed to add this new content, perhaps to sometime in March, hopefully no later than that, but delays may happen for any reason.
