School drama club
Drama club, located on the first floor of school, is fully functional and can be joined by talking with the club president (new NPC).
Script books for drama club activities can be obtained in the school library. Each book contains a fragment of text with dialogue between two characters, and can be studied from inventory menu, or from class desk menu. During drama club practice, you will have to recite correct lines for one of the characters, while your NPC partner will recite lines for the other character. Five books are available so far:
- The Hound of the Baskervilles
- Journey to the Center of the Earth
- Romeo and Juliet
- Oedipus Rex
- Dracula
All NPCs (apart from conbini and food stall sellers) can be potentially invited for drama club activity, and have different drama skills reflecting their personalities. Shizuka and Kasumi will always recite accurate lines (thus making the practice easier), while other characters may say wrong lines, or forget their lines completely.
"Victory" omamori/blessing allows to make 1 error during the practice. Reward for successful drama practice is +1 arts skill. Each book can be used twice with the same NPC to obtain +2 arts skill maximum (once per book character). Your current experience for each book and currently invited NPC is shown in the book selection menu. Once your experience reaches 100%, you can either use a different book with the same NPC, or use the same book and invite a different NPC, to continue getting more arts skill points.
New cosplay items are available in the club room:
- Cat, fox, and bunny ears. Cat and fox ears automatically adjust color to match character's hair color.
- Mustache for detective's cosplay. Can be equipped in "face" slot.
- "Journey to the Center of the Earth" cosplay items: mining helmet (glows at night), mining lantern (glows at night, can be used as a home decoration item), pickaxe (pickaxe is now required to harvest rocks from excavation site #2 in the shrine map).
All equipment items in the club room can be collected only after joining drama club.
Other new content:
- New round glasses (x3 colors) are available in the convenience store.
- Added more questions to the history school workbook (now 78 random tests in total). Fixed spelling errors and improved wording of several tests.
Improvements:
- more accurate calculations of secondary food effects (poisoning, warming, healing, etc.) All effects are now calculated based on consumed weight (in the past they were calculated per bite, which resulted in different effect values, depending on whether food/drink was consumed from menu or from hand slot). Effect of caffeine is increased (now +6.6% energy per 220g can).
- all luck effects from equipped omamori are now displayed in the top-right "effects" section of character's stats menu. If luck (of the same type) both from omikuji/praying and omamori is active, luck from omikuji/praying will be displayed. Luck from equipped but already expired omamori is not displayed.
- cumulative temperature bonus from currently equipped clothes is now displayed in the top-right "effects" section of character's stats menu.
- removed all minimum skill requirements for activities where result depends on player's skill and not on luck. All activities that consume energy at start (music, tests, sports, drama) now take a fixed amount of 10% of energy.
- stats requirements for befriending Erika are adjusted, now she expects only money.
- conversation with the school principal now has questions about jinja office NPC, student council NPC, and drama club president NPC.
Bug fixes:
- fixed an error with two purchase buttons in convenience store being assigned to wrong hats.
- fixed a minor issue with precision of baked navigation map (used by NPCs) inside the gym.
- fixed a minor issue with precision of objects spawned in mascot (squirrel) equipment slot.
