Taking on a new job is daunting – even more so when you’re managing a Division 4 football club with the expectation of leading them to the title.  

Below we have a couple of video guides on the fundamentals of NUTMEG! to help you get started on your journey through the pyramid. These cover your first decision of choosing a team, an overview of some of the club-level choices you'll need to make, scouting, and playing a match with our card-based match engine. If you're more the reading type, we’ve created a series of dossiers for you to flick through at your leisure that can help ease you into your new role. All you need to do is RTFM – Read the flippin manual! 

Firstly, you’ll need to know the gamemodes of NUTMEG! Next, taking stock of your club – the finances, and all the intricacies is in order. After that, gain familiarity with your team, training regimes, and how to trade players successfully. 

Now the admin work is out of the way, it’s time to get down to business. Build your powerful boost card arsenal and then slide two-footed into a 3PM kick-off on matchday. 

As you progress through your career, you’ll be set a series of tasks with lifechanging benefits, all while the world revolves around you as you enter new eras.
