Hello Again, Miners!

Some of you were wondering how Starminer performs on Steam Deck - and if it's even gonna run. This dev diary features a short gameplay session of Starminer running on Steam Deck.

The following footage is unedited and unscripted, was captured on camera rather than recorded directly on the device to showcase core mechanics, construction, and simulation systems in a handheld setting.

We are not going for the "Verified" badge (at least not just yet) - this is just to show you what can you expect the game to play and run on the Deck.

While Starminer is designed primarily with PC in mind, it was important for us to ensure that the core experience translates well to handheld play. Steam Deck provides a good balance of performance and portability, and we’re happy with how the game behaves under those constraints.

More soon! Starminer Dev Team
