Hi all! In this news update I'll talk a bit about new gameplay features, new rubber ducks and new levels. All of which will be coming to you in the full game.
As you may know, the Rubber Ducks game mode is all about guiding ducks downstream. Since the last demo update, I’ve improved how special ducks appear. From valuable gold rubber ducks to big slow ones. These special ducks appear throughout the level, and the more you dislodge, the more will start arriving. So at first you just have a few plain rubber ducks, but by the end of the level, all sorts of ducks will be constantly flowing through.
I'm also working on a bunch of smaller improvements: Randomly appearing obstacles for some more challenge, traveling instantly between levels and more precise control when sculpting sand.
In the full game, you’ll start high up in the mountains and make your way down to the coast. Each level will feature a different landscape: you’ll begin in calm pine forests, make your way through open meadows and eventually reach sunny beaches.
I’m currently working on the levels, but you can already get a sense of them in the latest trailer.
