Co-op Fieldwork: Team up to share resources and daily chores!
Co-op Farming: Expand your farm, grow crops together, and build bigger barns.
Co-op Marriage: Take your in-game relationships to the next level with multiplayer marriage!
Hangout Events: Spend quality time with your favorite islanders through optional mini-events. From cozy picnics and jam sessions to spontaneous beach bonfires, these moments let you connect in new ways.
Hangout Cutscenes: Each hangout triggers a unique cutscene, separate from Heart Events, focusing on your personal bond with an NPC.
Deeper Conversations: Discover new dialogue that reveals your spouse’s dreams, fears, and aspirations.
Special Cutscenes: Experience intimate moments in daily life, from quiet mornings together to romantic dates that bring you closer.
All dateable characters are getting their own Spooky Outfit just in time for the Spooky Festival! These outfits will appear every Fall season.
You might also spot them during special ghost-story events but only if your friendship with certain NPCs is close enough!

Q: When is the Switch release?
A: We know you’re excited for the Switch version. We are too! We don’t have any updates right now, but we’ll share news as soon as we can.
Q: Will there be divorce in the game?
A: Nope, not at the moment. We don’t have anything to share on that feature right now.
Q: What if two players are courting the same NPC?
A: It’s a race to the altar! Whoever proposes first wins that NPC’s heart.
Q: I’m already married. Can I still see past hangout events?
A: In 1.2, you can’t replay hangouts with the NPC you’ve married. But don’t worry, we’re working on adding them to the Tablet of Memories, so you can relive those moments later on.
Q: When will 1.3 be released?
A: We’re aiming for the second half of 2025, toward the end of the year. If anything changes, we’ll give you a heads-up right away.
Q: Will it have split-screen or local co-op?
A: No, local/couch co-op won’t be available.
Q: How does crossplay work?
A: You can play together on Steam + Xbox or Steam + PlayStation. However, Xbox and PlayStation can’t be in the same session.
Q: Who can play with whom?
A:
Steam ↔ Xbox works
Steam ↔ PlayStation works
Xbox ↔ PlayStation together does not work
Q: Can all three platforms play together at once?
A: No. A session can only include Steam with one console platform at a time, not both.
Q: What happens if a Steam host is already playing with an Xbox friend and a PlayStation friend tries to join?
A: The PlayStation friend will not be able to join that session. To play with them, start a new session that pairs Steam with PlayStation.
Q: What if a console player hosts?
A: If an Xbox player hosts, only Steam users can join from outside Xbox. If a PlayStation player hosts, only Steam users can join from outside PlayStation. Xbox and PlayStation cannot mix in one session.
Q: Do same-platform lobbies still work?
A: Yes. Players on the same platform can play together as usual. The limits above apply only to crossplay.
Q: How do we switch which console we are paired with?
A: End the current session and start a new one, then invite friends from the other console platform.
