Developed by the Chinese two-person team MadGoat Game Studio and published by Infini Fun, this dark 3D action roguelike is ready to meet players worldwide! The game supports 12 major languages, with the PC version launching simultaneously on Steam and Epic Games Store.
EA Content Preview
In the Early Access version of Netherworld Covenant, players can experience four complete chapters: Dungeons, Village, Coastal Fishing Hamlet, and Black Tower. Each chapter features unique terrains and distinct monster designs, with players encountering two Elite Bosses and one Final Chapter Boss per chapter. Defeating these powerful enemies grants substantial meta-progression rewards. Additionally, special encounters are scattered throughout the game—overcoming these challenges unlocks extra skills for your arsenal.
Combat Dynamics Preview
As an action roguelike, Netherworld Covenant challenges players to establish their combat systems through Main Weapons, Nether Lantern Weapons, and Ghost Skills. Nether Lantern Weapons provide unique "Suppression" effects to control enemy aggression, while Ghost Skills grant versatile abilities like Blocking, Ranged Attacks, AoE Bursts, and Mobility. However, these skills are governed by Energy and Stamina constraints respectively. Mastering the balance between resource management and offensive pressure will be the core tactical challenge in sustaining relentless attack rhythms.
Post-Launch Roadmap
Following its Early Access launch, Netherworld Covenant will maintain consistent updates en route to its full 1.0 release. The development team plans to expand the game with new chapters, bosses, build archetypes, weapons, interactive elements, and world-building enhancements to deepen the dark fantasy experience.
