Patch v.1.2.2 - 24/01/2025
BUG FIXES & IMPROVEMENTS
- Fixed an issue that caused a hidden music objective in "Deadly Lover's Fortress" to get stuck
- Fixed an issue in the "Morgue" Menu Background that caused reflections to be white
- Fixed an issue in the "The Stranger" Boss fight that caused reflections to be white
- Fixed an issue that caused players to be stuck in the boss room after completing the hidden objectives in "House of the Damned"
- Additional Optimization to NPC Physics
- Additional Optimization to all levels
- Major optimization in boot-up times across all platforms
- Scaled up the Controller image in Controller Options
- Renamed the "Flip Triggers" option to "Invert Fire"
- Disabled the Party text in-game while in the Pause menu when playing Solo
- Disabled the Christmas event
SPECIAL MENTION
We received the very sad news that a beloved member of the community known as DopeyMercury790 passed away recently. Dopey was a passionate and talented speed runner and completed many speed runs of Sker Ritual, the most recently being a WR together with Nvrlnd on House of the Damned.
The team have dedicated a tribute to Dopey that can be found in the House of the Damned and have also added a special player icon featuring his dark wolf avatar.
As this patch has included many updates we encourage anyone who is experiencing issues or bugs to please report it to our team either over on our Discord or various social channels. We will also be releasing a special news post soon about what the future holds for Sker Ritual in 2025.
