You might notice that Frostrail looks a little different compared to the reveal trailer last spring. Since then, we’ve refined our art direction and homed in on a visual style that better supports the scale and atmosphere of the game.
We’ve redrawn and improved large portions of existing assets, created a wide range of new environmental details, and adjusted how key locations are built. Artists now work more directly on important points of interest, resulting in more hand-crafted structures and stronger visual storytelling across the world.
