AHHH PANIC What do I need to do? 😱
Breathe! Among Us 3D is just a name change. You can still play in your VR headset of choice just like before, and there's nothing else you have to do or buy for this to happen. Once Among Us 3D launches for PC, you'll get access to everything automatically.
As a quick reminder: Among Us 3D (including Among Us 3D: VR) is not compatible with the original Among Us.
I have so many Stardust questions! 🌠 Where do Stardust babies come from?
Ok, so we can't help with that question 🍼, but we did make a whole FAQ just for Stardust! Among Us 3D players in VR will have the ability to purchase Stardust starting April 10, 2025. So you will actually be able to access the new cosmetics and in-game store before anyone else. Just a perk of being an early adopter. You're welcome.
Plus, all of your previously-purchased cosmetics will be available in your Wardrobe, so you'll never lose your iconic look. 😎
🚨 Shop smart: Stardust purchased in Among Us 3D or Among Us 3D: VR can not be used to purchased items in the original Among Us. 🚨

The new name is great, but the real benefit to our players is all of the cool new stuff you're going to get for free when Among Us 3D launches on PC. That includes:
- A new, permanent mode featuring the Infected 💚
- 💬 Proximity voice chat (yes, it's staying!)
- New tasks and fun things to do in lobbies (like the 📸 photo functionality in the trailer)
