First off, thank you for your interest in A Thousand Bees so far! It's the first game I am releasing after learning programming and I am very excited. At time of writing, the last levels are being illustrated, last bees placed, and last audio effects implemented. We are set for release!

If you are interested in participating in the closed playtest from mid-March, you can mail to [email protected] with the About line "Playtest".

Major update23 Apr 2026Achievements have arrivedNew in this update: • Achievements! • a New Game option from start screen before finishing the game • fixed miscounted levels from previous bugfixes You called and I listened: there are now achivements available. I do believe I found and fixed the issue. If there are any other things you find not working properly or as expected, don't hesitate to tell me!Game update12 Apr 2026Small patch to version 1.01This is the first patch for the game. It doesn't do anything exciting, just fixing some layouting issues and on-screen notices. Several players have reported mismatches between the "total bees found" counter on the start screen and the actual bees found. So far it was only a few bees off, but of course it's not intended and has to go. I will find and squash that bug, so please bear with me.
