Evelume Demo Is Out Now!

Today I’m releasing the Evelume Demo.

I’ve been working on this game solo for a little over a year. No team, no publisher — just a lot of late evenings, rewrites, experiments, and careful polishing. This demo is the result of that long and very personal process.

Evelume is an atmospheric 2D adventure about a schoolboy living in a small town where adults seem stuck in a gray, repetitive life. Work, stores, bills - day after day. Somewhere along the way, they forgot what they once dreamed about. And something in this town is slowly taking away joy and hope.

In the demo, you’ll play through Act 1 and Act 2, which form the beginning of the story:

  • Talk to characters and make choices that affect events

  • Fight enemies with different attack patterns

  • Solve puzzles and take part in mini-games

  • Experience a story focused on mood, mystery, and emotional tension

  • Explore locations accompanied by atmospheric and dynamic music

This demo represents the core of Evelume and sets the tone for the full game, which will consist of four acts in total.

If you decide to try it - thank you.

If you leave feedback, report bugs, or share your thoughts - it genuinely helps more than you might think.

I hope Evelume resonates with you.
