Big Update: Ingredient Pricing System & Customer Ratings

Hello everyone!

I’d like to share one of the biggest gameplay updates coming to Midnight Ramen Shop.

🍜 Ingredient Pricing System

This update adds a new layer of depth to the game.

You will be able to set the price of each ingredient in your ramen bowls individually. This allows you to control exactly how much profit you make from every ingredient.

However, be careful — if you overprice ingredients or serve the wrong orders, customers won’t be happy.

⭐ Customer Rating System

I’ve also added a new customer rating metric.

If customers receive the wrong orders or feel that the prices are unfair, your restaurant rating will decrease. And what does the rating affect?

It directly affects how many customers will visit your midnight ramen shop.
A lower rating means fewer customers coming to your restaurant.

⚙️ Upcoming Improvements

Based on feedback from some of you in the discussion section, I’m also planning to add resolution settings so you can change the game’s resolution.

I’m planning to release this update within the next week.

🧹 Possible Bonus Features

If I have enough time, I’m also thinking about adding a few extra mechanics:

  • Cleaning the customer and kitchen area inside the shop

  • Cleaning the street outside your ramen shop in the city view

This will create a cleaner environment and make your customers happier. If these features don’t make it into this update, they will come in a future one.

❤️ Thank You

Finally, thank you so much to everyone who has supported the game so far:

  • Players who played the game

  • People who left reviews

  • Those who shared feedback in the discussions

  • Content creators who made videos about the game

Your feedback helps me improve the game and means a lot to me.

Thank you for supporting Midnight Ramen Shop!

I’m currently working on a new update for Midnight Ramen Shop and wanted to share one of the things I’m adding 👀 I’m experimenting with a new Soup Stirring Minigame where players will need to stir the ramen soup pot whenever it starts boiling too much. The goal is to make preparing ramen feel more interactive and satisfying during busy nights at the shop 🍲 Alongside that, I’m al…
