X5 will be hosting a mouse vs keyboard show match next Sunday December 7th in CTF.
All players can sign up via the CTF Discord and will be added to a team pending the Captain’s explicit approval. Team cohesion is critical for competition, if you have a history of uber toxicity or league disruption, you won't be involved. Period. Friendly trash-talk is fine, anything beyond that is no-go.
Although the event is a 10v10, extra players may assist with spec info and practice/prep, again pending Captain approval. The goal is a competitive match, so playtime is not guaranteed and is not a priority. If desired, we could run it back with the B-team to see if the same results play out.
Choice of side will be determined by three 1v1 duels, each with a different dueler.
Prefer to see mirror compositions and similar bases (e.g., A7/F4 with a D Hvy). Understandable if the lineup adjusts during the game to swap infil/JT to flag, or to account for 10-man.
Captains will determine their lineups/subs.
Time-based dampening Overtime will remain in effect from the latest CTFPL season.
The overall aim is maximum parity, matching roles, positions, and skill levels as closely as possible for a fair, competitive series.
