Hello Survival Typists!

We’re back with another update to your favorite typing game! It’s a smaller update as we have been fixing bugs and working on a literal game-changing feature coming this summer.

Revamped Trial Selection Screens

Our original trial screen got a little too complex, and some information was missing, so we broke it up into different, bite size sections.

Consumable Shop

Now you can purchase your favorite consumable items before starting a trial! Not only are you better equipped before taking on a Trial, but you now have something else to spend all those coins on!

Avoid Word Overlap Option

In an effort to make words stack over each other less, we’ve enabled a new option where words move out of each others’ way. We know this may not be popular with everyone, so we’ve given you the option to activate in the settings menu.

FEATURES

New Gameplay Systems:
- Anti-overlap system: Automatically moves words apart when they overlap. (Note: Feedback is requested on this feature).
- Consumables Shop: A new shop interface has been added to the game.
- "Midas Touch" Consumable: A new item available exclusively via the Consumables shop.
UI & Quality of Life:
- New Setup Layout: Refreshed design for the "New Game" setup screen.
- Volume Controls: Added audio settings directly to the pause menu.
Localization:
- General update to all localization files.

BUGFIXES

Stability & Performance:
- Fixed a crash occurring when attempting to load a mod without a specified path.
- Improved framerates for Fireball augments, particularly on lower-end PCs.
- Implemented a potential fix for the "afterimages" visual bug reported on some systems.
Gameplay & Logic:
- Guardian AI: Added additional checks to the target acquisition script to prevent the Guardian from getting stuck.
- Midas Touch: Fixed an issue where the reroll mechanic did not respect the Midas Touch effect.
- Consumables: Fixed a bug where similar consumables were incorrectly added to the same stack.
- Loot Balancing: Restored original Consumables drop rates (previously boosted for testing).
Localization Fixes:
- Fixed various errors in the Russian localization.
- Updated the Russian wordlist (corrected "фонера" to "Фанера").
