Forbidden Fantasy Team working on FreshWomen S3

Hello Heroes,

OppaiMan is here to bring you fresh news.

Forbidden Fantasy 1 was developed in 24 months and was a great project.

Since October 2025, I have brought the people from Forbidden Fantasy to work on:

  • Julia In Japan: a complete game the same size as Forbidden Fantasy done in 2 months.
  • Chloe's Desire Express: a complete game the same size as Forbidden Fantasy done in 2 months.
  • Season 3: our biggest project to date. The first update is already available.

This means the creative energy from the people who created Forbidden Fantasy was used to create 2 complete stories the same size as Forbidden Fantasy 1 in only 4 months.

Forbidden Fantasy 1 took 24 months to get done, so making a game the same size in 2 months means we are working 12x faster together.

Thanks to bringing in the writer, artists, and animator, we are now publishing new content on the FreshWomen franchise 12x faster than before.

What does this mean for the Forbidden Fantasy franchise?

The development of Forbidden Fantasy was not going so well under their old director. I had to fire him and take care of the team members formerly under his supervision.

This situation taught me that great people working under not-so-great leaders can produce poor results.

Since we don't have the energy to manage multiple projects efficiently at the same time, I made the difficult decision of stopping the development of Forbidden Fantasy.

So, until FreshWomen S3 is done, f1r3 and I are managing a big team that combines the FreshWomen S2 team + Forbidden Fantasy team, focused on one project at a time.

Will Forbidden Fantasy 2 ever be done?

Currently our team costs more than 200,000 USD per month to keep running.
My job is to put our team on the most lucrative project so I can pay good wages and put food on the table.
Presently, FreshWomen S3 is our most lucrative project, and I have to focus my team on it.
Maybe if Forbidden Fantasy 2 shows itself as the most lucrative project, earning over 200,000 USD per month, then I can put people on it.

Why take so long to tell us?

At first it was just an experiment.
After we completed Julia in Japan and Chloe's: Desire Express in 4 months, it was clear that the decision was working.
And now is the safest moment to tell you.

Play the games made by Forbidden Fantasy Team: Julia in Japan, Chloe's Desire Express, and FreshWomen S3

Julia in Japan and Chloe's Desire Express are the free DLCs of FreshWomen - Season 2. You can download and play them on the same page you buy FreshWomen - Season 2.

FreshWomen S3 had its first update this week, and another update is coming next week.

It's the people behind the game who matter the most

The people from Forbidden Fantasy are seeing their most productive days ever:

  • Tsudere-Writer (writer of FreshWomen S1 and Forbidden Fantasy) is now leading a team of 5 writers for FreshWomen S3.
  • ladiesman217 (animator of FreshWomen S1 and Forbidden Fantasy) is now leading a team of 7 animators for FreshWomen S3.
  • Coelho (artist of Forbidden Fantasy) is now managing the creation of sprites, backgrounds, and facial expressions for FreshWomen S3.
  • Katiau, Sulamaita, and 2 other artists are doing great renders for FreshWomen S3.

So the team is now seeing a new golden age of productivity. And thriving
I'm glad they worked on Forbidden Fantasy so they became a lot more experienced.

Cheers,
OppaiMan

The studio was born within OppaiMan, bringing together the same team that has been shaping every detail of the game. In recent months, we’ve focused production on what truly matters: animation quality, 4K renders, and a story that keeps you hooked from start to finish. I want to share some important changes we’ve made to the project. In the last few months, we lost focus. We spent almost seven months trying to expand the game in ways that didn’t make sense: RPG, minigames, turn-based battles, collectibles, and even a point and click sandbox. It looked interesting at first, but it only slowed down what really matter…
