The online template server has been restored for Zenkcraft. Everything will work as previous going forward. However, the database has been reset and will need to be repopulated by the community.
The fix is only for Zenkcraft Remastered. The Legacy version of Zenkcraft will no longer support an online database option.
Updates for this release:
The online database has been restored for Zenkcraft Remastered (Legacy Zenkcraft Database is permanently discontinued). All templates have been deleted.
The delete functionality now works for the online server. Click the trash can in the list of templates. The trash can only appears for templates uploaded with your steam id.
Fixed the hover window sometimes being sized incorrectly when it pops up.
This server change development happened very quickly in order to reduce downtime, so please report any unexpected issues.
The Zenkcraft database had grown to be very large and needed to be cleaned up. Although I would have preferred manually cleaning up the templates, the full reset is an opportunity to populate the server with fresh templates.
The new online server that Zenkcraft is built on should be more reliable going forward. It will also contain daily backups so that services can be restored quickly if something happens. This new server is a good long-term solution and I am happy about the change, however I wish I would have more notice before the server went offline.
