Hello, Survivors!
5 days ago we released the free Prologue version of Siege Survival: Gloria Victis. We’ve had high hopes for it, as we’ve been confident about the game and its quality.
But what happened over those 5 few days, simply exceeded all of our expectations. Let’s wrap up the summary of the Prologue launch!
First of all, you’ve literally buried us with your feedback – we’ve already received more than a thousand of the in-game tickets! Thanks to this we can make the game better, and keep working on it. Some examples:
- The first battle has been slightly too long, so we’ve already shortened it a bit.
- Some players had difficulties because of building next constructions in a specific order – for this reason, we’ll improve the tutorial phase to involve building the Stump earlier.
- The battle’s interface could communicate more clearly that the player can turn the tide during the battle, even at the last moment.
- Some players would like to have a more direct impact on the battles, so in the full game, we’ll implement some heavier war gear – a player-controlled trebuchet!

50.000 activations!
More than 50.000 Steam users have added the Prologue to their Library so far – and the number is still growing faster and faster! And also this has caused that...

Positive reviews!
Since the release, reviews of the Prologue remain at the “Very Positive” ratio, fluctuating around 90% positive reviews. It’s uplifting to see you’ve liked the Prologue so much!
Wishlists are skyrocketing
By the time we launched the Prologue, the full game had a bit less than 25.000 Wishlists. Now, 5 days later, it’s almost 35.000, and the Prologue itself earned the further 10.000 Wishlist from players willing to try it out in the spare moment. Which means 20 000 wishlist's increase in total within those few days, wow!
As a side-effect, the daily Wishlist gain has got an amazing boost. On Saturday, August 23rd, the full game gained 2375% more Wishlists than a week ago, on August 16th. Woohoo!
Also, this means that we’ve reached another tier of the Wishlist Challenge and the full game will be released with a 10% discount! For this occasion, we’re glad to announce the next goal: if Siege Survival gets 40.000 Wishlists, the game will be translated to another language chosen by the Community!
A welcome surprise!
Speaking of translations, something crazy has happened when a French YouTuber, Dan Field, has made a gameplay video from the Prologue:
Thanks to this video, a lot of French gamers contacted us and offered to translate the Prologue into French, which took… just 72 hours!
We’d like to thank from the bottom of our hearts the group of volunteers, led by veteran translator Caïn Halas, that contributed to the French translation:

The French translation has already been applied to the game over the weekend, in one of many smaller updates. You can expect further patches in the following days, as we're carefully analysing your priceless feedback (we've got so much of it!) and improving the Prologue.
