Hey survivors,

It has been exactly 1 full year since we released the game. Yay, still alive! To celebrate that, WE are giving you a present.

I already said here and there that we were working on a sequel, so now it’s time to officially say it: WE ARE WORKING ON A SEQUEL.

But… Surprise, surprise, this sequel is not called Dead In Bermuda 2, as you’d expect, but

Dead In Vinland

(Dramatic pause)

DiV will tell the tale of a Viking family forced to go into exile, and ending up stranded on an unknown, strange Island. With no hope of going back, they will have to start a new life there and find ways to survive the numerous dangers that lie ahead.

I won’t say much more for now about the setting. Just that you will quickly encounter other stranded people on the island. As a player, you will have the opportunity to welcome them to your camp and to expel them as you please.

You will also discover a LOT more about the background history that ties the two games together, the so called “strange blue people”.

In terms of new features, there will be A LOT. We will disclose them now and then on Twitter, so don’t hesitate to follow us! https://twitter.com/deadingames

We're hoping to release DiV in Q3 2017, if everything goes according to plan – and it should.

And last but not least, the first Work In Progress concept art for the game…

Don’t hesitate to leave questions in the comment section, we will answer what we can.

Happy surviving!
-Dead In Vinland Team
